The goal of the Findlay Men's Hockey League has been to provide a fun, quality hockey experience for everyone involved. Throughout our more than 30 year history, we've been able to offer a competitive environment for players of all skill levels ranging from beginners to semi-professionals.
We offer three divisions of skill levels: A, B, and C. Below, you'll find a more detailed explanation of each of these divisions.
We host three "seasons" throughout the year: fall, winter, and summer. The fall and winter seasons usually consist of 11 to 13 games while the summer season usually consists of 6 to 8 games. During the summer season, we generally combine players into two leagues with the Upper league consisting of A and high-level B players while our Lower league consists of low-level B and C players. The league provides team uniforms which are to be returned at the end of the season.
All of our games are held at the Cube in Findlay (see map below), consist of three 17-minute stop-time periods, and are officiated by two referees and one scorekeeper. In the event of a tie, A and B League teams will play an additional 5 minute, 4-on-4 run-time overtime with no subs. C League games end in a tie.
