Website Updates
Page Load Time: As you've probably already noticed, we've taken numerous steps to dramatically reduce page load time.
Season Stats: The Schedule and Stats page for each division have been combined into one page. But don't worry, you'll still be able to find exaclty the information you're looking for. We've created a set of filters on the page so that you only see the data you want to see. And these filters remember your previous selections so that you don't have to refilter it every time. The biggest advantage of this setup is that it will allow players who are rostered on multiple teams to see their combined schedules.
Historical Stats: The Historical Stats page has been renamed Stat Archive and comes with some new features. Similar to the season stats page, the stat archive page has filters you can use to see the data in multiple formats. You can view summary stats or you can view stats from individual seasons.
Subbing: Similar to the past few seasons, when you need a sub, you'll fill out a sub request form. What we've changed, however, is the way you sign up to sub in an open spot. When you click the sign up button, you'll simply be prompted with a pop-up window to select your name. This will be much simpler than being redirected to the sub form. These changes will also prevent two people from signing up for the same spot which was an issue we had at times in the old system. Lastly, when you sign up for a sub spot, you'll receive an automated email to let you know we received your request. Then you'll receive another one once your request has been either approved or denied.
Player Ratings: Player ratings are now available for each player on the Player Profile page.
Team Ratings: With the addition of team rating caps, we've created a page on the website to calculate team ratings for you. If you want to see if a group of players will fit under the rating cap, plug them in and see the result. Or if you want someone to sub for you, but you're not sure if they'll fit, simply select your team and swap out players.
Login: With the complete redesign of the backend system, we've created the ability for everyone to be able log in to it. When you log in, you can view your team's schedule and stats, team messages, your financials, update your player profile, and change your email notification settings. For example, if you don't want to be on the sub email list, simply turn off that notification.
